Contract Enclosure I
I. The task of employee:
Foreign teacher teaches oral French, survey of French countries, etc. The load of work is 18 classes per week, 50 minutes per class, 6000RMB per month (with bachelor’s degree), 7000RMB (with master’s degree), 8000RMB (with doctor’s degree), but 70 RMB(teacher with bachelor’s degree); 80RMB (teacher with master’s degree); 100 RMB(teacher with doctor’s degree) for each extra class over working load.
II. The term of this contract shall be from -------------to -----------. The employee’s monthly salary shall be RMB --------.
III. Living conditions and other treatments
a) The employer will provide flat and other basic living facilities for foreign teachers. The repairing fee for the electric appliances shall be paid by the employee.
b) The employer shall pay for the employee’s international travel fee 8000 RMB; 4000 RMB shall be paid every half one year at the end of each semester.
c) The employee can get a domestic traveling expense 2200 RMB every year ; 1100 RMB shall be paid every half one year at the end of each semester.
d) The employer pays the full fees of local working visa and residential card and relative check-up, but the employee should pay for visa for private visa and all concerned fees of his\her accompanying family members.
e) The employee shall apply an ATM Card from the Agricultural Bank of China and report the card number to the foreign office. The salary shall be paid through transferring account. The employee will get salaries within fifteen days at the beginning of the next month. The salary for the last two months of each term will be given in the former month of the two months at one time. During the contract time, if a new term begins before the 15th date of the month, the froeign teacher shall be paid one whole month salary; if it begins after the 15th date of the month, the foreign teacher shall be paid half one-month salary. If the froeign teacher works in this University for two successive academic terms, during the middle holidays, the foreign teacher shall be paid one month salary even in the holidays. And the one-month holiday salary shall be paid at the very beginning of the second academic term after the holiday. According to the relevant taxation law of the PRC, the employer will deduct tax payment from all the money (salary and money for extra classes).
f) The employee pays power, water, Internet and gas fee.
g) The empoyee bears medical fees himself\herself.
IV. The employee is not allowed to put the visitor up without informing the Foreign Office. The employee should observe the rules and regulations of the university and inform the Foreign Office and put forward a written notice before leaving Datong and perform the procedure of asking leave and reporting back. If the employee has no time to do it, he or she should telephone the Foreign Office. The employee is severely forbidden to do another job outside Datong University and is not allowed to rent house outsidd the campus. More detailed things should be done according to 《Rules of Foreign Teachers’ Teaching 》.
V. The employee should complete teaching task according to the teaching plan. The employee is not allowed to get another job out Datong University or be absent from school without asking for a leave from the Foreign Office. If the employee is found to be absent from class for the first time, 100RMB for each class shall be imposed as a fine. If the foreign teacher is absent for class for successive 5 days, the employer has the right to announce the contract and its enclosure invalid. If being ill or having something important to do, the employee should obtain the permission from the dean of the foreign school to exchange classes.
VI. The employee is not allowed to do other works irrelevant to the school, if found the employer has the right to deduct monthly salary, and if the employee do not take it serious, the employer has the right to make the contract invalid.
VII. The employee has the duty to keep all the installation of the flat in a good condition and keep them clean.
VIII. If the employer can not get the working permit and invitation letter from concerned authorities, the contract is invalid.
