This Foreign Language School is a municipal key school held by Liaocheng High School. The school is divided into four departments: primary department, junior department, senior department, international department. It is known for teaching foreign languages and its equal emphasis on both arts and science. It is a joint-stock school on a 12 year implementation system.
The school is located in the city of Liaocheng, Shandong Province and is well-placed to fulfil such a function. There are 97 classes, 400 teachers, 5500 students in the school. The teaching building of 39359 square meters, which the school has newly built, seeks to incorporate study, food and beverage facilities, living accommodation, a relaxation area and fitness centre into an integrated unit. It consists of 12 multimedia classrooms, 4 pronunciation rooms and also offers different elective courses such as Korean, Western and Classic instruments, English Drama etc. There are different sports facilities, including badminton hall, a table tennis area, a gymnastics room, etc. to encourage physical fitness. The standard of each classroom and dormitory room provides the modern accommodation for the students . The aim of the school is to nurture and mold out students into adults with good characteristics, international perspectives and healthy goals. We have considered creating a digital campus and the building of the e-community; technology has been the catalyst to the modernization of the school. All the teachers use their wisdom to win the respect of the students and influence them with their personalities, philosophies and inspirational ideals.
