The basic salary is 6,000 RMB per month and the foreign teacher needs to finish 10 required periods (45 minutes/period) per week. For extra periods, it’s 150 RMB per period. So the actual income is based on how many periods the teacher takes and we have adequate classes. The average income of former foreign teachers is 8,000-10,000 RMB monthly.
Indirect pay: free housing (two bedrooms, one living room, private bathroom, kitchen and balcony) with all necessary facilities; 8,000 RMB travel allowance for a full academic year (paid before the end of the contract, you can use the money freely, such as the flight allowance ); free airport (Tianjin International Airport or Beijing Capital International Airport) roundtrip transfer. |
