　Founded in 1936, This University is a higher learning school of sciences, engineering, management and law, with engineering as the core. In the past 70 years, we have been pursing the mission of training “useful, reliable and wonderful” practical senior personnel and have trained more than 40,000 qualified graduates. 

　The institute covers an area of 13.3 hectares and has opened new school branches in Bai Wanzhuang and Daxing due to the increased enrollment of students since the year of 2001. There are currently 401 full-time teachers and 9900 students working and studying in the institute. The institute is made up of nine departments, three teaching and research sections and two affiliated schools, as well as Modern Educational Technology Center, Sino-French Training Center for Energy Related Professions and Research Center on Urban Studies. Presently, 20 programs are offered for undergraduates, 18 programs for the three-year vocational students, and three A-Level programs and 17 B-Level programs for master students and two authorized training centers for engineering masters as well. Besides, the institute has one Beijing Key Program, two Beijing Key Developing Programs, four Beijing Key “Brand Development” Programs, three Beijing Key Reconstructing Programs, one Beijing Key Laboratory and eight Beijing Qualified Laboratories. In addition, the institute also holds certified an A-Level Construction Design Institute as well as a Jingjing Dafang Engineering Consultant Corporation. 

During the next 10 years, the institute will endeavor to become a major educational base for senior civil engineering talents and an essential scientific technology base to serve the capital city’s development. We will integrate sciences, management and law into our engineering core.

1.    Party B’s working hours shall be below 21 hours a week.

2.    Party B Shall be entitled to the following holidays---

New Year’s Day, Spring Festival, International Labor Day (May 1), National Day (October 1), and other statutory holidays.

3.    Party B shall be entitled to the following holidays (select those applicable and      cross-out those inapplicable):

□The Festival of Fast-Breaking (1 day)

All air transportation provided, if any, shall be provided only on the basis set forth in Paragraph Ⅱ.4.e below.

Furnished Foreign Guest House, with bedroom, living room, kitchen, furniture, TV, telephone, refrigerator, air-conditioner, microwave oven, washing-machine, gas water heater (for bathing), heater, school net.

all medical care shall be provided at the This University medical clinic(20% of the cost paid by Party B) or depended on Party B’s medical insurance.

a.      Sick leave. When asking for sick leave, Party B shall produce a doctor’s certificate issued by a doctor from the medical clinic of the This University, or by a doctor from the Jishuitan Hospital or such other hospital as designated by party A. Upon submission of such a certificate, Party B Shall be entitled to continue to receive his/her salary for up to 15 days of sick leave within one academic semester. If Party B’s sick leave exceed 15 days Party A shall have the discretion to terminate this contract; provided further, that if Party A elects not to terminate the contract, then during this extended period of sick leave, Party B shall be only entitled to receive seventy (70%) of the monthly salary till Party B comes back to work.

b.      Leave of absence. Party B shall obtain the consent of Party A prior to taking any

Leave of absence. Party B’s monthly salary shall be reduced according to the number of days Party B is absent at the rate of two days’ salaries for each one day of absence up to a maximum of one month’s salary per month. If Party B takes any leave of absence for more than six days, Party A shall have the discretion to terminate the contract.

c.        Airport pick-up and delivery. Party A shall provide free transportation to Party    B from the Beijing Capital Airport to the This University the first time Party B arrives in  Beijing pursuant to this contract, and Party A shall further provide free transportation to Party B from This University to the Beijing Capital Airport when Party B departs.

d. Residency permits. Party A shall provide Party B with the appropriate

residency permit free of charge for the first time.

e. Air transportation. Any air transpiration which Party A agrees to provide to Party B under Paragraph Ⅱ.1 above shall be provided according to the following terms. For the first time Party B arrives in Beijing pursuant to this contract. Party B shall be responsible for obtaining his/her own plane ticket, but prior to Party B obtain his/her plane ticket. Party A shall inform Party B as to the maximum amounts Party B as to the maximum amount. Party B pays for such ticket(under the maximum amount). Party A shall reimburse Party B his/her air transportation provided upon Party B providing a copy of the plane ticket showing the amount paid for the ticket.

Ⅲ. Party B can stay in the apartment provided by Party A for another 10 days free of charge after the terminating of the contract, 10 days later, Party B must pay for the housing.
