This Normal University, run by Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Regions, is a four-year undergraduate and multidisciplinary University. It is located in Yulin City, southeast of Guangxi, which boasts being “one of top the tourist cities of China”.The higher education of Yulin Teachers College began in 1958. Up to now, the school has trained tens of thousands competent personnel for society, and it is now striding forward a new stage of progressing.
This Normal University owns 3 beautifully landscaped campuses, covering a total area of 1,200,000 square meters.
At present, the university has a staff of more than 1000 people, among who are distinguished professors of high academic achievements and energetic young members of staff who have become leaders in the new frontiers of learning. There are 13 departments with 38 four-year undergraduate specialties, 14 three-year specialties, more than 17,200 students including 12,000 full-time students and 5,200 higher education students.
Decorated by flourishing trees and blue lakes, the campuses embrace the local cultural as well as the natural landscape, which provides students with an excellent environment to live in. The first-class piano house, computer center, linguistic center, multi-media classroom, and campus network are open to students. This Normal University has numerous facilities to meet a variety of needs, including library, diet center, supermarket, bank, post-office as well as gymnasiums, swimming pool and courts for basketball, tennis, and badminton. Located at the southeastern part of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Regions, Yulin city has a privileged location facing the South China Sea, neighboring Guangdong Province. Yulin city is one of the Top Tourist Cities in China and it is the hometown of Professor Wang Li, a very famous linguist. The city has a railway and highway connecting it to different parts of the country. The location of Yulin provides it with a subtropical climate. This Normal University is in the downtown, neighboring the hospital, shopping malls, supermarkets and restaurants which are all available within a 10-minute walk.
Campus Culture
The University emphasizes the full development of the students. By means of colorful campus cultural activities, it aims at elevating the students’ qualities in morality, artistic and cultural cultivation, and physical and psychological forbearance.

Foreign Teachers are Required
This Normal University holds the qualification of employing foreign faculty, there is the International Exchange Section in charge of foreign teacher’s daily life and teaching. Every year, a number of foreign teachers are required to teach in our university, the courses they teach including Oral English, Outline on UK & USA, Business English, English Writing and English Film & Video etc.
Qualification, Facility and Salary for foreign teachers:
1. We employ foreign teachers from UK, USA, Canada, New Zealand, Australia and Europe, holding Bachelor Degree or TESOL Certificate, with high responsibility in teaching college students aged from 19-23 years old.
2. RMB 4000~4500 paid monthly according to employee’s degree or experience. Free water and electricity with an apartment (60㎡ ~ 70㎡): a kitchen, a bathroom, a living room, a bedroom and a study.
3. All the household appliances, including refrigerator, colour TV set, a telephone, two air-conditioners, a water-heater, a electric-stove, a micro-wave stove.
4. To provide a computer (connected the internet network).
5. Free fare of water, electricity and heating; internet fee.
6. To make sure the resident permit and expert certificate.
7. 14-16 Classroom teaching hours every week.
8. In winter or summer holidays, a foreign teacher can be paid RMB 2200 as tour allowance.
9. According to the distance, Employer provides employee a double-way international flight ticket after one year’s contract.
