TEACHER EMPLOYMENT CONTRACT
Part A
I. Party A, This International Services, wishes to engage the service of Party B, , passport number ( ) as Full/Part time teacher at ( PGA School). The two parties, in a spirit of friendly cooperation, agree to sign this contract and pledge to fulfill conscientiously all the obligations stipulated in it.
II. The period of service is one academic year, specifically from______ to__________ . The one month probation period will be from to .
Note: Party A will provide pre-job training to Party B, including meals and accommodation in that period. The pre-job training should not be considered as the beginning of the employment and therefore Party B will not receive salary or other benefits which full-time employees are entitled to. If Party B is not able to complete the training and obtain the certificate as required, Party A reserves the right to terminate the contract.
III. The duties of Party B (see Appendix Ⅱ)
IV. Party B’s monthly salary will be __________Yuan RMB (before tax) with free housing, and electricity to include hot water, and gas. (Up to RMB200 a month and submission of legitimate invoices required). Party B full time teachers will also be paid 12 Yuan RMB food allowance each working day.
Note: Free housing refers to apartment provided by the teaching center. If Party B wants to arrange his/her own apartment, it will be considered as waiver and Party A is not responsible for any expense(s) related to this.
V. Party A's Obligations 1. Party A shall introduce to Party B the laws, decrees and relevant regulations enacted by the Chinese government, the Party A’s work system and regulations concerning administration of foreign experts.
2. Party A shall conduct direction, supervision and evaluation of Party B’s work.
3. Party A shall provide Party B necessary working conditions.
4. Party A shall provide co-workers.
5. Party A shall pay Party B’s salary regularly on the 5th of the month.
VI. Party B's Obligations 1. Party B shall observe the laws, decrees and relevant regulations enacted by the Chinese government and shall not interfere in China’s internal affairs.
2. Party B shall observe Party A’s work system, time and regulations concerning administration of foreign experts and shall accept Party A’s arrangement, direction, supervision and evaluation in regard to his/her work. Without Party A’s consent, Party B shall not render service elsewhere or hold concurrently any post unrelated to the work agreed on with Party A.
3. Party B shall complete the tasks agreed on schedule and guarantee the quality of work.
4. Party B shall respect China’s religious policy, and shall not conduct religious activities incompatible with the status of an expert.
5. Party B shall respect the Chinese people’s moral standards and customs.
6. Party B must conduct a medical examination to certify that he/she does not suffer from hepatitis or any other infectious disease before his employment with Party A.
(Party B should provide Party A original health certificate and other required material on arrival to help school facilitate the processing of various procedures as stipulated by the regulations regarding employment of foreign experts. Party A will verify the original health certificate of Party B. Party B is responsible for any expenses related to medical examination.
7. Party B shall not disclose his salary and the information of the contract to a third Party without the consent of Party A.
VII. Revision, Cancellation and Termination of the Contract 1. Both parties should abide by the contract and should refrain from revising, canceling, or terminating the contract without mutual consent.
2. The contract can be revised, cancelled, or terminated with mutual consent. Before both parties have reached an agreement, the contract should be strictly observed.
3. Party A has the right to cancel the contract with a written notice to Party B under the following conditions:
(1) Party B does not fulfill the contract obligations according to the terms stipulated and has failed to amend after Party A has pointed it out during and after the probationary period.
(2) According to the doctor’s diagnosis, Party B cannot resume normal work after a continued 30-day sick leave.
(3) Party B violates rules and regulations of Party A and the teaching centre.
In this case, Party B agrees to pay back (or thru payroll deduction) USD500 to 2,000 (or the equivalent in RMB) to cover the costs of all visa related costs.
4. Party B has the right to cancel the contract with a written notice to Party A under the following conditions.
(1) Party A has not provided Party B with necessary working conditions as stipulated in the contract.
(2) Party A has not paid Party B as scheduled after reasonable notification has been given for the non-payment.
Under all circumstances of termination, Party B agrees to surrender Foreign Expert Certificate acquired thru employment and assistance of Party A. Party A reserves the right to cancel Party B’s visa and residence certificate.
Note: Party A will hold the teachers Foreign Expert Certificate on file.
VIII. Breach Penalty
If either party asks to terminate the contract due to events beyond control, both parties are exempt from obligations.
If Party B asks to cancel the contract due to events beyond control, it should produce certifications by the department concerned, obtain party A’s consent, and pay its own return expenses; if Party B cancels the contract without valid reason, it should pay its own return expenses and pay back the costs related to visa issuance (visa costs, photos, airfare, lodging, etc.) to Party A plus a contract breach penalty of USD 200 per month of early termination (USD 200 multiplied by the months still due in the contract. In case of days short of a month, a prorated penalty based on actual working days will be imposed.)
If Party A asks to cancel the contract due to events beyond control, it should only pay a breach penalty of USD 200 per month of early termination to Party B. (USD 200 multiplied by the months still due in the contract. In case of days short of a month, a prorated penalty based on actual working days will be imposed.)
IX. The appendix of this contract is an inseparable part of the contract and has equal effect.
X. This contract takes effect on the date signed by both parties and will automatically expire when the contract ends. If either of the two parties asks for a new contract, it should forward its request to another party 30 days prior to the expiration of the contract and sign the new contract with mutual consent. Party B shall bear all expenses incurred when staying on after the contract expires.
XI. Any notices required or permitted to be given to either party can be delivered by email, mail, fax or personnel. The other party will be deemed to be received on the date of delivery.
XII. Party A shall be entitled to all the intellectual property and other proprietary rights including but not limited to patents, copyrights and trademarks, with regard to products, or documents and other materials which bear a direct relation to or are produced or prepared or collected in consequence of or in the course of the execution of this contract. Party B shall take all necessary steps, execute all necessary documents and generally assist in securing such proprietary rights and transferring them to Party A in compliance with the requirements of the applicable law.
XIII. Severability
In the event that any provision of this contract is found to be void, invalid, illegal or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, such finding will not affect any other provision of this contract. If any provision of this contract is so broad as to be unenforceable, such provisions shall be interpreted to be only so broad as is enforceable.
XIV. Non-Waiver
The waiver by either party of any breach or violation of any provision of this contract shall not operate or be construed as a waiver of any subsequent breach or violation.
XV. Entire Contract
This contract constitutes the agreement between the parties with respect to the employment of the Teacher. Any and all previous agreements, written or oral, express or implied between the parties or on their behalf relating to the employment of the Teacher by the school are terminated and cancelled and each other parties releases and forever discharges the other from all manner of actions, causes of action, claim or demands whatsoever under or in respect of any agreement.
XVI. Modification of Contract
Any modification of this contract must be in writing and signed by Party A and Party B or it shall have no effect and shall be void.
XVII. Headings
The headings utilized in this contract are for convenience only and are not to be construed in any way as additions or limitations of the covenants and agreements contained in this contract.
XVIII. Independent Legal Advice
Party B acknowledges that he/she has read and understood this contract, and acknowledges that he/she has had the opportunity to obtain legal advice about it.
XIX. Counterparts
This contract maybe executed in several counterparts, each of which shall be an original, and such counterparts shall together constitute but one and the same instrument.
XX. Arbitration
The two parties shall consult with each other and mediate any disputes that may arise about the contract. If all attempts fail, the two parties can appeal to the organization of arbitration for foreign expert’s affairs in the State Bureau of Foreign Experts and ask for a final arbitration.
This contract has been made in duplicate with one copy given to the teacher and one copy kept by This International Services.

1. Principle/Definition
1.1 This International Services: all institutes using This International Services (Project of Global Access) teaching method.
1.2 The manual: staff manual.
1.3 Full time employee: Full time teacher and full time professional both locally hired and overseas hired.
1.4 Part time employee: Part time teacher and part time professional both locally hired and overseas hired.
1.5 The manual constitutes an integral part of the employment contract. In the event of inconsistency with the provisions of the corresponding employment contract, the provisions of the employment contract will prevail. This International Services reserves the right to modify the manual upon consultation with management in accordance with Chinese laws and regulations.
1.6 Except for the provisions specifically referred to full time employee or part time employee, the provisions of the manual apply to both full time employee and part time employees.
2. Visa
2.1 Principle:
For full-time employees, This International Services will help them apply for Z-Visa. If they are Residence Certificate holders already, they need to submit the recommendation letter and termination letter issued from their previous employer to HR and Administrative Department for applying for a new foreign experts’ certificate and a new visa.
2.2 Documents needed for obtaining a Z-visa
Recommendation letter or termination letter from the previous employer

3. Housing
Note: The conditions below do not apply if the teacher chooses not to stay in an apartment arranged by the School. The teacher shall bear all costs if living in his/her apartment not arranged by the School and no provisions will be allowed by the school or This International Services.
3.1 This International Services will provide free independent apartments to full time foreign teachers.
3.2 In principle, our HR and Administration Department or Teaching Center may provide a suitable place for the full time foreign teachers according to Party A’s budget and criteria.
3.3 Fees for Internet (if applicable) and Phone shall be paid by Party B. Party B shall deposit 500 Yuan RMB both for internet fee and telephone fee before he leaves at the expiration of the contract, as the bills always comes at the end of the following month. Party A will refund the rest after paying the final bills.
3.4 Teachers are responsible for any damage caused by fire, water or neglect and shall bear all costs or labor expenses to repair all damage or cleaning of school apartment. Final salary will not be paid until the inspection of the apartment has been approved by the Director of Studies. The Check in and out Forms are compulsory when teachers move in and out their apartments.
4. Labor Contract
4.1 According to the stipulations of Chinese Labour Law, all full time employees should sign labor contract with This International Services. The period of the contract is one academic year with 1 month probation.
4.2 Upon mutual agreement on the renewal, the full time employee and This International Services shall notify the other party one month in advance in writing for the renewal of the labor contract.
4.3 If either you or This International Services decides to terminate the contract, they should inform each other 30 days in advance in writing prior to the expiration date. The Labour Contract will automatically cease upon expiration.
5. Holidays & Leave Policies (Only applies to full time employee)
5.1 Public Holidays (in accordance with local laws and regulations) and by the school according to the teaching schedule.
5.2 Unpaid leave
Based on the regulations of This International Services full time employee may apply for unpaid leave (10 days per calendar year) due to personal or family-related reasons, which is subject to prior approval of the Director of Studies. Any unpaid leave without applicable approval may be deemed as absenteeism. The cumulative days of personal leave should not surpass 10 days, while the continuous days for personal leave should not exceed 3 days.
If the cumulative days of personal leave surpass 10 days, Party A has the right to terminate the contract at any time. If personal leave is one day more than the personal leave limit, Party B shall be deducted the two–day wage. Party A shall deduct Party B three-day wage for one-day absenteeism. In the case of serious absenteeism, Party A has the right to terminate the contract and prosecute Party B for breaching contract.
5.3 Sick Leave
Sick leave is subject to prior approval of the Director of Studies. Sick leave of more than one day must be supported by medical certificate. During one academic year, the cumulative sick leave can not exceed 30 days. If Party B’s cumulative sick leave is more than 30 days, Party A has the right to terminate the contract at any time or pay 70% of the relevant salary. If Party B asks for sick leave during work time, the relevant food allowance will be deducted.
6. Working Hours
6.1 Maximum up to 20 hours of classroom instruction per week for full-time employees or as required by the school for part time teaching.
6.2 Minimum 4 hours of office hour per week for full-time employees. The total working hours (including teaching hours) per week do not exceed 40 hours according to Chinese Labor Law.
6.3 All staff should abide by the school working time and the arrangement by management.
6.4 Teachers will be expected to attend regular meetings and seminars.
6.5 If Party A needs Party B on holidays, Party B should attend as required by Party A.
7. Compensation and Benefits
7.1 All employees shall receive the salary as stipulated in the employment contract. Taxes are the responsibility of the employee. Taxes will be withheld by This International Services and the employee will be paid a net amount. Taxes incurred to the employee’s native country should be borne by the employee himself or herself.
7.2 The pay term for full-time employees is from the 1st to the end of the calendar month. The employee will receive their salary on 5th of the next month.
7.3 Party A shall provide Party B the commercial insurance for all full time teachers only. The commercial insurance includes accident insurance and Hospitalization Medical Insurance. The Insurance coverage will begin after the one month probation period. Part time teachers are responsible for their own insurance.
7.4 Transportation Allowance
Party B shall bear the cost of airfare from his/her country to China at the beginning of this contract. Upon completion of one academic year (ten months) contract, Party A shall provide Party B with RMB 8000 as airfare allowance. This allowance can be used to help cover the cost of his/her transportation.
If the contract period (or the service period) is less than ten months but more than five months, Party B is entitled to the prorated amount of RMB8000. When deciding the contract period, only full month will be recognized.
Party B is excluded from this benefit if less than five months service. df
Note 1: If Party B leaves his/her job before the contract expires for reasons not related to Party A or not due to events beyond control, Party B is excluded from this benefit.
Note 2: Invoices are required to obtain airfare allowance; otherwise the amount will be taxed in accordance with Chinese law.
7.5 Flexible time off & Overtime payment
Flexible time off and overtime payment (OT) only apply to full-time teachers. For full-time teachers, ONLY when they are required (subject to prior approval by Director of Studies) to work beyond the work hours, are they entitled to flexible time off or OT payment according to the Chinese Labour Law. Teaching hours beyond 20 hours per week shall be considered as overtime. The overtime payment rate shall be 150 RMB per hour.
Overtime shall not exceed 20 hours per month in accordance with the Labour Law and regulations.
7.6 Travel Allowance
On completion of one year academic contractual period, (Full time Teachers only) Party B will be paid a one-time travel allowance of 2200 RMB net. If the contract period (or the service period) is less than ten months but more than five months, Party B is entitled to the prorated amount of RMB2200. When deciding the contract period, only full month will be recognized.
(Note) Invoices are required to obtain travel allowance; otherwise the amount will be taxed in accordance with Chinese law.
7.7 Salary of Winter Vacation
The duration of the winter vacation is in accordance with Party A’s arrangement. The winter vacation pay is equal to normal pay. Food allowance is not paid during the winter vacation.
8 Working Discipline
8.1 Objective: In making the employee disciplines, This International Services aims to define the misconducts in the workplace in an effort to protect the property and interests of This International Services, ensure the realization of This International Services business goals and maintain the overall wholesome and harmonious atmosphere in the workplace.
8.2 Disciplinary Actions
A. Types of Disciplinary Actions
Any employee committing offences is subject to verbal or written warning. This International Services reserves the right to terminate the labor contract with any employee committing serious offence.
a. Types of offences:
Minor offence, General offence, Major offence;
b. Exercise of disciplinary action:
This International Services will exercise various disciplinary actions upon employees liable for various offences:
- Any employee liable for minor offence is subject to the verbal warning of the supervisor and the Director of Studies and recorded in the staff file;
- Any employee liable for minor offences above 2 times or general offence is subject to written warning by the Director of Studies and recorded in the staff file;
- This International Services may immediately terminate the labor contract with any employee who commits a serious offence or another offence after receiving the written warning. The Director of Studies, HR and Administrative Department and Legal Department are responsible for the enforcement of disciplinary action and recording in the employee file.
8.3 Offences
8.3.1 Minor offence:
The negligent acts violating the code of work, workflow, security rules and other applicable rules;
A. Rude and impolite acts towards other employees of This International Services or other related personnel;
B. On job/ post tardiness, abuse of telephone and computers;
C. Violation of the dress code;
D. Negligence and tardiness hindering work efficiency and quality;
E. Failure to coordinate with other employees as required when conducting duties;
F. Failure to communicate to other employees or report to the supervisors about work-related problems or information in accordance with the procedure, rules, instructions or security rules or other applicable regulations of This International Services;
G. Minor damage to office facilities and appliances of This International Services arising out of negligence;
H. Failure to inform This International Services of the changed personal information in time;
I. Failure to report to work on time;
J. Failure to inform the DOS prior to taking leaves as regulated by This International Services.
8.3.2 General Offence
A. Impairing work efficiency or quality or giving rise to loss or negative influence to This International Services owing to deliberate or involuntary violation of the code of work, work flow or security rules.
B. Acts or words offending other employees of This International Services or other related personnel;
C. Unauthorized absence from work, or unauthorized absence for personal affairs;
D. Unreasonably refuse to answer legal problems from supervisor or managerial staff;
E. Waste and loss of materials of This International Services due to negligence;
F. Unreasonably refusing to cooperate with other employees when conducting business;
G. Failure to inform the supervisor or managerial staff of the work-related problems when performing duties;
H. Unreasonably refuse the request of managerial staff (according to the Labor Law) for overtime work;
I. Unapproved absence of 1 day without justified reasons;
J. Frequent late arrival or early leave (above twice) with no justified reasons;
K. Damage to office facilities and appliances owing to negligence;
L. Using the equipment of This International Services for personal benefits or other unacceptable purposes;
M. Disclosure of the salary information in violation of the regulation of This International Services.
8.3.3 Major offence
A. Serious loss or serious negative influence incurred to This International Services due to violating the work code, work flow or security rules of This International Services;
B. Any acts violating the applicable laws and regulations;
C. Coerce, threaten or force the employees of This International Services or other related personnel;
D. Conflicting with the interest of This International Services by being concurrently employed by other companies or undertaking part-time job (not applicable to part time employees);
E. Any falsification in any form giving rise to the economic loss of This International Services or legal claim against This International Services;
F. Unauthorized post, exhibition or distribution of any information, materials and items on the premises of This International Services impairing the interest of This International Services or giving rise to negative influence;
G. Any act in violation of the provisions of the labor contract in connection with the confidentiality, economic discipline or the value of This International Services;
H. Disobey the instruction or requirement with regard to work by the supervisor or the other managerial staff;
I. Incurring serious waste and loss to This International Services owing to negligence and abuse of duty;
J. Deliberately fail to report to the competent supervisors of the serious loss, damage or accident, or deliberately hold back employee offence or fail to exercise disciplinary actions;
K. Consecutive absence of 2 days or accumulated absence of 4 days with no justified reasons;
L. Material impairment of other employees’ reputation via disclosing the concerned employee’s privacy to others without justified work/law-related reasons;
M. Disclosure of any business secrets, materials, information, reports, etc. to any third parties outside This International Services without the Management’s approval;
N. Violation of Ethics and Code of Conduct as established by This International Services or its parent company.
8.3.4 Notes
The above-mentioned offences are only for the purpose of reference and may not cover all offences. Any offence uncovered herein is subject to the discretion of This International Services for determining the type of the offence in accordance with the de-facto practice. This International Services reserves the right to punish various offences based on the after effect.
9 Communications and Appeals
This International Services encourages communication among the Director of Studies, teachers, supervisors, managers and employees in the effort to enhance mutual trust and mutual understanding maintain a wholesome and harmonious work place and enable the team to be devoted to the fulfillment of duties and reputation of This International Services and various departments.
This International Services will strive to let the teachers/employees know the development strategy of This International Services to unify the whole team in pursuit of the common goal. The Director of Studies and managers may invoke employee workshops or seminars from time to time to make decisions via consultation. The bulletin board of This International Services may be occupied by various notices or bulletins, which, however, are subject to prior approval of the Director of Studies and managers.
This International Services encourages teachers/employees to express their opinions to the HR and Administrative Department and the Director of the PGA Program in case of inadequate communication or dispute with the Director of Studies in following procedures for maintaining the workflow.

10. Management of Information Resources
This International Services deems information as a valuable resource necessitating its protection. Each employee shall take proper measures to protect the computers and the information resource furnished by the I.T. department, and adheres to the authority for its use. It is not allowed to install and use any software or programs unauthorized by This International Services in the computers of This International Services.
Employees are required to ensure security of all stored data with prompt backup. It is not allowed for employees to disassemble/assemble the computers in their possession, or modify system configuration without applicable authorization. It is also prohibited to transfer to or share with others the user ID and password. It is required to immediately report to the IT department and modify the password upon identifying the disclosure of the password. Upon suspicion of virus intrusion into the information resource, it is imperative to terminate the connection with the Internet and report to the Director of Studies.
11. Safety and Sanitation
This International Services deems employees as the most valuable resources, so it is of uppermost priority to protect the safety and health of employees as well as the properties of This International Services in the workplace. This International Services, upholding safety first and precaution as the backbone, will try to create a harmless work place for its employees. This International Services always comply with the applicable laws and This International Services regulations in connection with safety and health, are also reflected in its managing strategies. This International Services makes a point that health and safety rank among the top agenda. This International Services encourages constant improvement in terms of occupational safety and health.
12. Ethics Standard and Code of Conduct
12.1 Ethics Standard
This International Services encourages employees to avoid any interest-related conflict with their current duty. All employees shall shun from any act in conflict with or interfering with the business of This International Services or any third party in business relation with This International Services. The interest conflict include, but not limited to, the following:
1 Competitive business, e.g. employed by the rivals of This International Services;
2 Competitive interest, e.g. the interest gained through competitive business;
3 Legal requirement – the employees are prohibited from committing any act violating the local or central government’s laws and regulations in conducting commercial business;
4 Fair competition – all employees should be fair and honest towards each other;
5 Confidentiality – employees shall not disclose any information or secrets obtained in current work.
12.2 Code of Conduct
1. Any employee is prohibited from harming himself (or herself) or other employees by his (her) activity or work;
2. Any employee is prohibited from interfering with other employee’s ability to reach the performance target of This International Services;
3. The employee of This International Services shall be polite to and respect other employees, and treat other employees in the way he (or she) hopes to be treated;
4. Altercations like fighting are forbidden and are subject to disciplinary action;
5. Any insulting language and threatening act to others are not tolerated and are subject to disciplinary action;
6. Gambling in any form is prohibited;
7. Drinking alcohol on the premises of This International Services is prohibited;
8. Smoking on the premises of This International Services is prohibited;
9. Mailing, sending e-mails , or posting obscene pictures or photographs or any kind of indecent language are deemed as sexual harassment subject to disciplinary action;
10. Causing offence due to not respecting local culture and customs is prohibited.
13. Property of This International Services
Any employee shall not transfer the property of This International Services without the written approval of the Director of Studies. The properties include but not limited to:
1. Materials, equipments and tools;
2. Intellectual Properties owned by This International Services and other employees;
3. Confidential documents, including teaching materials, evaluation documents and quality-control documents;
4. Computer disks, tapes and other storage media;
5. Any exclusive or other information identified as commercial secrets;
6. Any person transferring or attempting to transfer the property of This International Services is subject to disciplinary action.
14. Workplace Rules
1. Every employee should know the fire exit nearest to his office area;
2. It is strictly prohibited to smoke in the non-smoking areas including the toilet, lift and stairs;
3. All confidential documents, stamps of This International Services and permits shall be locked or kept according to the financial procedure;
4. It is required to shut off the personal computer each night (except for the necessity of data transmission in the night). All computers connected with the Internet shall be shut off;
5. It is prohibited to copy, disclose or transfer the exclusive materials of This International Services without the approval of the Director of Studies; it is not allowed to use the business plan, development reports and promotion material for personal purpose;
6. It is prohibited to have meals in the office at any time;
7. Visitors to This International Services offices shall bear the badge with the word “Visitor” and be accompanied by the employee(s) of This International Services. Any employee of This International Services is obligated to check the identification of unaccompanied visitors in the office.
15. Warranty
The Teacher represents and warrants:
1. That there are no restrictions, agreements or limitations on their rights or ability to enter into and perform the terms of this c contract;
2. That he/she will provide the necessary information and signatures to enable This International Services to obtain and maintain during the term of this contract a valid visa and work permit for the People’s Republic of China, for criminal checks, and for other forms required by the Government of Canada, the United States, Australia and the U.K., or the People’s Republic of China.
3. That he/she has received on paper electronically, a copy of the Teacher Handbook and has accepted the responsibility for reading it.
16. Dress Code
To ensure the appropriate dress, This International Services requires all employees to be dressed in business attire during working hours.
Male employee - business suit, business trousers, shirt, tie, and leather shoes;
Female employee - suit, skirt, shirt, leather shoes, dress.
The PGA teachers shall not wear jeans, T-shirts, leather dress, shorts, over exposed clothing, running shoes, slippers or sandals without permission.
The undersigned acknowledges understanding and acceptance of the terms in this manual and agrees to abide by the conditions set forth. This Appendix has been made in duplicate with one copy given to the employee and one copy kept by This International Services.

Roles and Responsibilities
Party A: This International Services
Party B: Kenneth Craig Hill.
I hereby accept the terms and conditions of employment as set out hereunder.
1. Position Full-time/Part -time teacher at Nantong No.1 Middle School (PGA School). (Party A’s teaching centre).

June 30, 2010
3. Job description
Party B is required to teach PGA courses, such as Foundation English ,Level 1 English and Study Skills (Party B accepts that the school may adjust or reassign Party B’s subject teaching areas to best meet the ability of the teacher and the actual situation and working needs of the school.)
4. Roles and responsibilities
All teachers shall be in charge of the delivery, assessment and evaluation and administration of the teaching modules being taught. Specifically, Party B should be responsible for:
Show up five minutes before the class starts;
Prepare lessons well prior to teaching according to teacher guide;
Write teaching plan per period, which is examined weekly by DOS;
Delivery of modules according to the syllabus;
Tutor students during supervised self-study and independent period;
Accurate student attendance record;
Keep all records relating to the module being taught. At the end of each module, Party B should sign and date each section of the Class Record and submit to the Director of Studies;
Complete and sign the Competency Sign off Logs as the student’s progress through the module. When a learning outcome and the learning criteria are completed, the date is inserted, and signed off by Party B. Party B must ensure that all the relevant boxes are ticked and correctly dated. All learning outcomes can not be covered on the same date. Dates must be correctly recorded, i.e. 26/06/02 not 26/6. At the completion of the module, Party B should submit the logs to the Director of Studies for checking and filing;
Assist the Director of Studies in the preparation of the Student Competency Checklist at the completion of each level;
Provide Director of Studies with Competency Sign Off Logs, Class Record Book, and Student Competency Checklists no later than two weeks after the completion of module;
Ensure all Sign Off Logs and Checklists are complete and accurate;
Assess students’ work with appropriate comments;
Keep all students’ work in all assessable activities;
Provide the Director of Studies with samples of assessed student work as required for moderation purposes;
Report of each module taught by Party B weekly or monthly required by the DOS stating its strengths, concerns etc;
Identify students who are deemed at risk, fill in the Non-attendance Form and submit to the Director of Studies after each assessment;
Complete the Teacher Evaluation Report at the end of each module and submit to the Director of Studies;
Attend staff meetings and seminars arranged by Party A and participate in the academic discussion;
Be observed regularly by Party A;
Read all the related materials required by Party A;
Attend the teacher training courses arranged by Party A;
With the consent of Party A, Party B shall provide students with necessary supplementary teaching materials;
Under the requirement of Party A, Party B shall participate in activities regarding PGA propaganda and students enrollment, including but not limited to open class, teaching pictures, teaching demo, parents meeting.
This Part B (Appendix I and Appendix II) is an integral part of the contract, having the equal legal effect with the contract.
