A Brief Introduction to Licai Experimental School and Foreign School of Jiangyan

　　Our school is the first foreign language school in Taizhou. We have great honor to invite Xia Tianlin to act as the principal of our school. Mr. Xia is the former vice-principal and general secretary of Party Committee of Jiangyan Middle School, a modal worker of the state education system, a special - rank English teacher of Jiangsu Province and gold - prize winner of Cedar prize.
　　Our school has implemented quality - oriented education in an all - round way. We attach importance to training the students' creativity and practice ability and pay special attention to our teaching characteristics. We adhere to such an aim as "doing all things for the students; doing things for all the students and doing things all for the students." We manage our school by blocking up and teach our students by opening to the outside. In order to meet the social needs for high quality senior schools, we carry out teaching in small classes and set up the experimental class of Nanjing University. We engage foreign teachers all round the year and teach English, Japanese, Russian and other languages. We also start music and drawing characteristic classes. The students made successful records in all kinds of entrance examinations and competitions. In 1999, two students from Junior Two took part in the National English Competence Competition for Junior Three. They got the state special prize and the second prize of Jiangsu Province respectively. Two classes of Junior Two took the average score of 145 in entrance examination of English to high school in 2000. Our school table - tennis team got the championship in Jiangyan City Middle School students Table - Tennis Competition. Students from Junior One won the first prize in Jiangsu Provincial Junior students Mathematics Competition in 2000 and in 2002, altogether 19 students from Junior Grade III won the first prize in Jiangsu Provincial Junior Students Mathematics Competition. In 2001, students of our school have also achieved great success in practice activity and in competence competitions in mathematics, English, physics, chemistry and other subjects. In all, fourteen students of our school got the state first and second prize. Fifty - one students won the first prize of Jiangsu Province. We are also successful in practice activities, so our school is called "an unique flower of the whole garden". "Everyday Dispatch" of Xinhua News Agency, Jiangsu Educational TV Station, Taizhou Daily and other news medias have made special report on the special characteristics of our school - running and rapid progress.

Teaching building, apartment buildings for students and dinning - hall which covers 60,000 m2 are in the first - rank style and in novel designs.
