A Brief Introduction to AH888

　　AH888 was established on 1983. It was merged with Anhui Administration Institute and HefeiPricingCollege in 1996 and 2002. The main mission of the Institute is to educating and training senior and junior government officers and business managers in Anhui province. In addition, AH888 has been recognised by Chinese Ministry of Education to be eligible to deliver tertiary courses in both business and public administration areas. Its management is guided directly by Anhui Provincial Government.

　　The institute has three campuses with about 240,000 square meters in total. AH888 has 469 staff within which 206 are lecturers, 71 of them are titled as associate professor above. It has 7 education entities: Department of Government Officer Training, Department of Business Administration Training, Department of Public Administration Management, Department of Business Management, Department of Finance and Accounting, Department of Economy and Trading, Department of Information Management and the International Cooperation Centre. Currently AH888 runs 20 courses such as Economy Information Management, Business Administration, Public Administration and Stock Investment, etc. The student number is about 5,000.

　　In order to enhance the cooperative relationship with top Chinese and foreign universities, AH888 has had closer cooperative relationship with Shanghai University of Technology, Harbin Technology Institute, Zhejiang University, etc. The International Cooperation Centre of AH888 is undertaking the overseas exchange programme, until now, they has established a very good relationship with Australia, United Kingdom, Singapore and Canada and has sent about 266 students overseas.
